Eco Confetti

Eco Confetti is a one-stop shop for products that don’t harm the earth- from water-soluble and petal varieties through to biodegradable tissue and metallic options. Another key differentiator for the brand is its ability to offer custom blends to match any wedding (or other occasions) aesthetic and colour scheme. 

The Problem
After several years in business, Eco Confetti found that its DIY brand identity was in direct contrast to the premium status (and sequential price) of the product range. The brand also required packaging solutions that were visually impactful and consistent while also following the brand values to not negatively impact the environment. On the Shopify website, important information about sustainability and how much confetti should be purchased was getting lost in listings and add-on purchases (such as packaging and accessories) added to the visual clutter without much impact to sales.

The Solution
With many other brands in the ‘eco’ space having rustic or neutral brand visuals, we chose to celebrate the exciting moment confetti is released through a colourful and energetic brand that stood out from competitors. Inspired by retro 1960s Italian typography, the logotype feels both sophisticated and playful, the vibrant brand colour palette combining hues from the natural world (greens and blues) with fun party tones (pinks and oranges). To compliment brand photography (and to be implemented throughout packaging), custom patterns were created using confetti-esque icons and shapes. The website saw us lean more heavily on professional event photography that showed the product in use (rather than static product imagery). A module of add-on products was also moved higher up the product page (without getting in the way of crucial information) in every product listing.
